THE RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA)

Are you 18 years of age or older?   Un-baptized?   Baptized in another faith? Catholic but have not received your initiation sacraments (Holy Eucharist and Confirmation)?

Congratulations! Welcome! We are all companions of Jesus!

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which you prepare to be received into full communion with the Catholic Church. The RCIA provides the opportunity to grow in the faith supported by the community of St Raphael’s. You begin with a period of Inquiry followed by weekly Mass attendance, study of the faith, practices and doctrines of the Catholic Church which leads to your initiation through either baptism or your profession of faith and reception of the sacraments.
