We are parents of Saint Raphael who trade babysitting services with each other. We provide safe dependable childcare in a Catholic home environment by trading babysitting services in time, not money. Day and night sits available. Meetings once a month on the second Monday at 6:45pm in the Parish Library. Yearly registration. Time commitment depends on your babysitting needs and availability.

Moms N Tots Group contact Laura Ziobro 786.4773
Moms N Tots is a support group for parents or caregivers of young children. We provide a safe playtime for young children with their parents or caregiver. We meet Fridays from 9:30 to 11:30am in the Nursery (room 30 of the Parish Center). Children range in age from newborn through four years old. Older siblings may join in during the summer or as needed.

Mothers’ group is open to all mothers in the parish. We meet the second Tuesday of every month (Sept.-May) at 9:30 am for support and friendship. In the past, we have been very active in many different service projects, but we have decided to scale back this year and focus on supporting one another in the tough job of being a Christian mom in a secular world. The nursery is available during our meetings for a small fee and infants are welcome in our meeting. We have fun family events scheduled through out the year including a Pumpkin Party in October, a kids’ Christmas party in December, an Easter Egg hunt in the spring and a summer picnic.

Single Parents Support Group

The nursery is available to children ages 6 months to 3 years during the 9:30am Sunday liturgy. Parents are expected to work in the nursery once every 5-8 weeks, as well as complete a background check, which is a requirement of the diocese for anyone working with children. Children are cared for by other parents in a safe, fun environment. We have a pager system, which allows us to contact parents if a child needs them.
