Single Parents Support Group

Come join the Single Parents Support Group. We provide support and fellowship among single parents within the parish. There are monthly socials that include: caravanning to water parks and the beach, potluck dinners, brunches both in homes and at restaurants, picnics at the parks and whatever new idea someone can come up with for a once a month social.

May Event: Artsplosure
Meet at the church Saturday the 17th at 10am to caravan and share rides. Here is the Artsplosure website.

Past Activities
Carolina Mudcats - April 2008
The April event turned out to be another free of charge event. God is looking out for us. Someone gave us all tickets at the Gate to the Mudcats game...Single Parents and their families will be going to a Carolina Mudcats game Friday April 11th for the 7:15pm game. Group will caravan from the Church parking lot at 6:15pm.

Potluck at Bridget O'Brien's - March 2008
Member hosted potluck. Please Contact Bridget O'Brien home 919-720-8781 cell 919-268-4009 or JoAnn Knorr 607.4869 if you would like to come. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share.

North Carolina Zoo - February 2008
We had a great time at the Zoo. Special Thanks to Bob Whittaker and his wife Mary Lynn for donating zoo tickets for the single parents and their families to go free of charge.
