Suscipe
St Ignatius Loyola

Take Lord!
Receive all my liberty,
my memory,
my understanding,
my entire will,
all that I have
and call my own.

To you, Lord, I return it.
Do with it as You will.
Give me only Your love
and Your grace.

That is enough for me.

Respect Life

contact Tammy Cunningham 605.3205

The Mission of the Respect Life Committee is to promote and celebrate, through prayer and educational activities, a consistent ethic of life from conception until natural death. As Catholics we believe that every person is created in God’s image, and we must therefore protect the right to life for all God’s children, particularly the most vulnerable.

     Major issues today include:
  •  Abortion
  • Scientific Embryo Research
  • Euthanasia
  • Contraception
  • Violence to Children
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Death Penalty
  • Issues of the Mentally & Physically Handicapped

God’s love does not differentiate between
the newly conceived infant
still in his or her mother’s womb
and the child or young person,
or the adult and the elderly person.

God does not distinguish between them
because He sees an impression of His own image and likeness in each one.

Pope Benedict XVI

You made the decision to have an abortion. It may have happened recently or many years ago, and yet that decision has left you feeling confused and emotionally wounded. You were unprepared for the deep sense of loss you've experienced since that time and you've silently carried your pain.

Project Rachel extends the healing grace of God to women and men wounded by participation in abortion. In a caring and hopeful context, you will be able to move towards reconciliation with yourself, your unborn child, your family, your Church, and God.

In Ramah is heard the sound of moaning,
of bitter weeping!
Rachel mourns her children, she refuses to be consoled because her children are no more.
Thus says the LORD: Cease your cries of mourning,
wipe the tears from your eyes.
The sorrow you have shown shall have its reward...
There is hope for your future.

Jeremiah 31:15-17
