Friends of Ignatius

The Friends of Ignatius sponsor liturgical art for our parish. Presently we have identified a St. Ignatius statue  and are seeking funds.  Together we can bring inspiring works of art to St. Raphael 'to affirm that true beauty which, as a glimmer of the Spirit of God, will transfigure matter, opening the human heart to the sense of the eternal'. Pope John Paul II

Shelley Kolman Smith, LLC of the Flying Paint Ranch Sculpture Studio has produced sculptures of St. Ignatius of Loyola.  This sculpture is a limited edition of 8.  Two have been created: at the Jesuit Montserrat Retreat in Texas and at Holy Trinity Parish in Georgetown Washington DC.
