Suscipe
St Ignatius Loyola

Take Lord!
Receive all my liberty,
my memory,
my understanding,
my entire will,
all that I have
and call my own.

To you, Lord, I return it.
Do with it as You will.
Give me only Your love
and Your grace.

That is enough for me.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Information

Contact Jay Comi 870.9580

SERVING AS A EUCHARISTIC MINISTER — Consider serving your parish community as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHCs). We have a great need for additional ministers at several of our Masses. All interested in joining this most rewarding ministry are asked to contact the EMHC coordinator Jay Comi at JayComi@Summitrs.com  to receive a copy of the ministry guidelines prior to a training session.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve our parish and visitors by assisting in the distribution of the Body and Blood of our Lord at our Eucharistic liturgies on the weekends, Holy Days and other special days. We minister at a very special and holy time to each communicant.

There is a one mandatory formation session that lasts about 2 hours in the sanctuary. Also, there are one or two half day retreats and refresher training sessions during the year. Each Minister is approved by the pastor. You will be scheduled at your favorite Mass. The rotation is about every 2-3 weeks.

Requirements

  • Are you a registered member and regular communicant of our parish?
  • Have you been Confirmed?
  • Are you physically able to receive the Eucharist under both species (bread and wine)
  • Can you attend the training session and retreats?

If you are interested in becoming a Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, contact Jay Comi 870.9580

Minister Schedule:

Readers and Eucharistic Ministers by week August - October

Readers and Eucharistic Ministers by mass August - October
