- FAITH FORMATION ANNOUNCEMENTS It is with sadness that we announce the resignation of Jeanne Lewin, our Director of Faith Formation. Over Jeanne’s six and half year tenure, her program shepherded the children of the parish, from Kindergarten through High School, through the sacraments of Reconciliation, Communion and Confirmation. She was instrumental in bringing together our multicultural community by incorporating an Ignatius based bilingual Faith Formation program based on the teachings of St. Ignatius, founder of the Society of Jesus, the Jesuits. A firm believer in the healing power of prayer, Jeanne will join the American Cancer Society, advocating for cancer patients as their intermediary between treatment centers and physicians, a mission very dear to her heart. Please join us in wishing Jeanne all the best in her new vocation.
- We welcome Mrs. Claudia Galeano as our interim Faith Formation Coordinator. Claudia will continue the work of overseeing the Kindergarten through High School Faith Formation classes and Sacramental prep programs through the end of this school year. Claudia has several years of experience as a Catechist and program assistant both in her native New York and here at St. Raphael's. Please join us in welcoming her to our staff.
